I found yoga a little over three years ago now and it has changed my life forever. I first started in my home, watching videos and reading anything and everything I could online and in books. Handstands were initially drew me in and I still love being upside down every single day.
I now have a very consistent home practice and love being able to really connect with my body in my own space. My practice is a combination of strength building and flexibility, where I focus on mindful movement and also letting go. I love that I now have the opportunity to share and teach others this practice that is so dear to me.
I am a yoga instructor at a local studio here in Detroit. Here on this blog you will find a lot on my yoga journey, and especially with having a home practice. I share my own tips and insights and strength building techniques that I use in my own practice.
I will also be sharing some of my favorite recipes, travel experiences, and just some of life’s things from time to time!
